Group Class Policies
Required participant waiver
A liability waiver is required for all class, workshops, and party participants.
18+ to participate
We welcome students 18 years old and above to attend classes at soFly Social.
Transfers and Refunds
Classes, packages, and memberships are non-transferable and not shareable.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any purchases.
Attendance Minimum
We require a minimum of 2 students to hold a group class session. Classes that do not reach the minimum within 3 hours of class time will be cancelled. If a single student is signed up and the class does not make, the student’s class pass/credit remains available on the student’s account.
Waitlist
Waitlist students can be promoted into class until 1 hour of class time. If a waitlisted student is not promoted into class, the student’s class pass/credit remains available on the student’s account.
Late Arrivals
We allow a 5 minute grace period after class start time to arrive.
Students who arrive after the grace period will not be permitted to join class. It will be considered an absence and will follow our late cancellation policy. Please make an effort to be on time!
After three late arrivals, you will no longer be granted entry into class when arriving late.
Early Cancellations
Class cancellations made before 6 hours of class time are considered early cancellations and the class pass/credit remains available on the student’s account.
Late Cancellations and No Shows
Class cancellations within 6 hours of class time are considered to be late cancellations. Late cancellations and no shows are deducted from the student’s class pass account. Unlimited members will be charged a $15 fee that will be donated to a charity of soFly Social's choice (we support the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Austin Pets Alive, the Austin Humane Society, and CASA).
Late Cancellation Exceptions
By request, we will waive late cancellation penalties if your scheduled class is being taught by a substitute instructor. This means we will not deduct from your class credits or charge $15 for unlimited members. Please email info@sofly.social to request a late cancellation for a class with a substitute instructor.
Note: This policy is only for late cancellations and does not apply to no-shows.
Health and Sanitization
If you use a soFly safety mat you must wipe the mat down with our mat cleaner after use.
Wipe down your pole with rubbing alcohol directly after class has ended.
If you are coughing, sneezing, or in general, just don't feel good; please skip classes and do not enter the studio. If you are sick and need a medical freeze on your account please let us know by emailing info@sofly.social.
Open Studio
Open Studio is meant for students who have attended at least one Absolute Beginner Pole class at soFly Social or have existing pole dance experience. New to the studio but have existing experience? Please message us in advance.
Video and Photography
When you are in class we want you to be present and engaged with your instructor and fellow students. Therefore, we do not allow video recording or pictures during class. At the end of class your instructor will provide you with time to record or take photos after instruction has ended.
Please be courteous and ensure that you are only filming yourself, or that you have the consent of any other individual that is in your video, this includes your instructor.
Please do not post any videos to any online platform that contains other people without their prior knowledge and consent.
Private Lesson Policies
Booking a Private & Semi-Private Session
Private and Semi-Private lessons are paid in full at time of reservation.
Private and semi-private lesson requests made within 24 hours of session time may not be able to be accommodated. We recommend requesting appointments as early in advance as possible.
Private & Semi-Private Rescheduling
We will reschedule any private or semi-private lessons with 24 hours notice or more with no penalty.
Private and Semi-Private Cancellations
If a cancellation request is made 1 week prior to your reservation date, we will provide a full refund of your session.
If a cancellation request is made 2–6 days prior to your reservation we will refund 50% of your session fee to your card.
If you cancel with 24 hours or less notice you will be charged in full for the session.
Please cancel your reservation as early as possible to avoid charges.

Your session starts at the reserved time, and lateness will result in a shorter session. Tardiness exceeding 15 minutes is subject to cancellation and you will be charged full price for the booking with no refunds.
Refunds
We do not provide refunds for private and semi-private sessions. If you took the class, you pay for the session.
Private Party Policies
Booking a Party
When you request a party appointment we hold a deposit of 50% of the party fee on a credit card.
Party requests made within 24 hours of session time may not be able to be accommodated. We recommend requesting appointments as early in advance as possible.
Rescheduling a Party
We will reschedule private party with 24 hours notice or more with no penalty.
Party Cancellations
If a cancellation request is made 1 week prior to your reservation date, we will provide a full refund of your deposit.
If a cancellation request is made 2–6 days prior to your reservation we will refund 50% of your deposit.

Alcohol & Drug Use
Please save the drinking and any mind-altering substances for after class. We want you to have a good time and to ensure your safety, as well as the safety of your guests.
If you arrive inebriated we will be unable to teach your class and a refund will not be issued. After class, we will have champagne & chocolates and will allow plenty of time for pictures!
Space Rental Policies
Rental Waiver
All new renters must sign a Rental Waiver.
Reservation Pricing
All reservations are priced on a per hour basis. We do not offer discounts for multiple hours of rentals or increments of time.
The expectation is that you pay for any time you are in the space. If you anticipate needing time before or after your reservation, please factor that into your rental. We offer a 10 minute grace period to exit. Being in the space outside of the bounds of your reservation will incur additional rental fees.
Cancellations, No Shows, and Refunds
Rentals have an early cancellation policy of 6 hours in advance of reservation time. If you cancel ahead of that time, your rental fee remains on your account as credit.
Late cancellations within 6 hours of your reservation time and no shows will be charged as a used reservation.
We do not provide refunds for Self Serve Studio reservation cancellations, only account credit.
Access
Self Serve Rentals are available from 7am – 10pm daily when the studio is not actively utilized for classes. Entering the studio outside of a scheduled reservation is grounds for permanent termination of rental rights.
Security
Advanced 24/7 internal and external remote security monitoring is in place. Do not do anything illegal or we will know*.
*Fucking in the studio? We are totally going to post it on PornHub. JK, JK.
Penalties
You will automatically incur fees for:
Damage to the studio (walls, floor, mirrors, apparatuses, etc)
Theft
Excessive cleaning (ie: confetti, glitter, feathers, etc)
TRAIN AT YOUR OWN RISK
soFly Social is not responsible for any injuries that occur during a Self Serve Studio Rental.
18+ Only
Renters and rental participants must be 18+. Minors are not permitted in the space during rentals.
Pets
Animals are not permitted.
Membership Policies
Membership Terms
Members receive 10 class passes for $185/month.
Membership passes do not rollover. These passes are discounted because they must be used within the month; regularly priced class passes are valid for 6 months.
Members can purchase additional passes for $18.50 class; these passes expire in one month.
Memberships are for Austin Area residents to help foster long-term, local community growth. Individuals misusing memberships are subject to immediate membership cancellation with no refunds.
Membership passes are non-transferable (passes cannot be shared) and nonrefundable.

Membership Renewal
Memberships auto-renew monthly on your date of purchase unless canceled; one month cancellation notice required.
You may cancel at any time by turning off auto-renew on your Wellness Living account.
To cancel your membership, log into your Wellness Living account ONLINE (not the app) and go to “Account > Passes and membership > find your membership and UNCHECK auto-renew.
Membership Hold
You may temporarily suspend your membership for up to 3 months with a $25 hold fee.
