Hell on Heels

Straddle ups — Beginner level with Dara Minkin
Inversions are one of the most crucial building blocks in the aerial language. You will be guided through the fundamentals of inverting. This workshop isn’t just for beginners, it provides useful information for instructors who want to deepen their knowledge to support their student base. Learn tips and tricks for needed mobility, deep core, back strength, and straight leg techniques. Also great for pole dancers!

Cartwheels — Intermediate level with Dara Minkin
Introducing a Dara Minkin (AKA Aerial Design) workshop focused on the vertical plane. Let’s go bananas! Formally known as lateral flexion, we are going to work on two different variations of cartwheels in a sequence. The primary focus of this master class is to assess the two primary types of cartwheels. You’ll leave this workshop with a new appreciation for banana science!

Split Fabric Theory & Sequencing “Binary Benders” — Int/adv level with Dara Minkin
One of Dara Minkin (AKA Aerial Design)’s favorite and most unique explorations of aerial theory, a binary bender is a multi-rotational drop with two fabrics having separate roles.
Pre-requisites: Wheel down, saltos, star drops

Basework Flips (Intermediate/Advanced) with Pole Kitten
Learn acrobatic drills and precise techniques to achieve effortless pole flips. Progressions will be provided. E.g backflip & butterfly flip, brass flip.
Prerequisites: Confidence with inverting from the floor, pole-assisted handstand, extended butterfly.
May 26th at 1pm
Hypno Choreo (Intermediate/Advanced) with Pole Kitten
Learn Kathryn’s signature tricky choreo including a mix of threads and hard style elements. Closed toe boots are recommended. Kneepads are required.
Prerequisites: Confidence with dancing in heels, inverting from the floor, pole-assisted handstand/ forearm stand, one-handed spins on static pole.

Hypno Flow Combos (High Beginner/Intermediate) with Pole Kitten
Learn acrobatic drills and precise techniques to achieve effortless pole flips. Progressions will be provided. E.g backflip & butterfly flip, brass flip.
Prerequisites: Confidence with pirouettes, fan kicks and beginner spins on static pole such as chair spin, carousel, etc.

Intro to Pole Dance: Level 1 series (June)
If you’ve always wanted to try pole dance or have taken a couple of beginner pole classes but you’re serious about moving up, then sign up! This 4 week series is designed for absolute beginners or current level 1 students who want a more personalized and expedited advancement through the level 1 curriculum. Each week we’ll introduce foundational skills and sequences with tips on how to train them. We’ll develop your pole vocabulary, skin tolerance, body awareness and strength so you have the framework and confidence to advance to the next level. Level 2 here you come!

This is a workshop for intermediate silks artists and up, focused on your movement quality and style. Join us for a special Advanced Slow Flow event with Shannon! For dancers with prior Slow Flow experience or who are comfortable with freestyle movement, who want to dive deeper into their own unique movement, explore music, prompts, and assignments, and play with the energy of other dancers. Includes a champagne toast!
Rebel with a Pole with Bentley Rebel
Intermediate and Advanced Levels: In this workshop we will be working on pole tricks that require fewer points of contact. We will be exploring quick movements as well different grips to perfect all the individual elements. This class will help you acknowledge certain ways to get in and out of tricks that make people say wow!
Prerequisite: soFly level 3+ or equivalent
R&C with Bentley Rebel
Beginner & Up Levels: R&C stands for Rhythm & Choreography. This is a choreography based workshop that helps increase retention and musicality. In this workshop you will learn a full dance number and techniques that will enhance your performance qualities. Prepare to take your performance mindset to another level.

Sarah Sparkles Workshop - Exotic Burn
Sunday October 8 at 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Exotic Burn is an "American Exotic" dance style class all about self-exploration, sensual movement, exotic style, flexibility, and SEXY HEELS! In this class, we will learn floorwork tricks and skills only on the floor (no pole) and then put them in motion with a free dance. Students are requested to bring heels or socks, knee pads, and clothing that makes them feel sexy! A yoga mat is helpful to bring for warm-up.
Minimum Requirements: Socks and knee pads or leg warmers
*Highly* Suggested: 6-8inch platform heels (ex: Pleasers), yoga mat
LaLa - Pole Duo Workshop
Sunday October 8 at 1:00pm - 2:30pm
In this 90 minute Pole Duo workshop, you will learn how to navigate the pole with a partner and get comfortable creating fun new shapes. We will move through a series of doubles tricks on and off the pole, from most beginner to most advanced. Tiffany and Lane will each explain their portion of the trick so each partner knows exactly where they should be.
*You do not need to come to class with a partner!! We will pair you up if you are solo :)
Prerequisites: Must be comfortable aerial inverting, a strong inside leg hang, superman and layback. Level 3+
Spooky Scary Halloworkshop
Sunday October 8 at 11:30am - 1:00pm
Conquer your fears in this dynamic workshop featuring flips, jumps, and tumbles. You'll learn new skills and the theory behind them so you can identify patterns and strategies to demystify the scariest saves in your IG folder. Let's go no hands, head first into places you've only imagined in your dreams (or nightmares). Sign up if you dare!
Appropriate for levels 4+ (high intermediate—advanced; must have comfortable aerial inversion, layback, and leg hangs). Please bring a padded shoe such as a tennis shoe or tactical/combat boot.
Estefania Workshop - The Sexy Old Ways (All Levels)
Saturday October 7 at 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Starting with a 15 minute full body warmup with full body mobility exercises and ankle strengthening drills, we will learn the basics of old school pole: sultry pole transitions, heel technique, low flow and spins in a single piece of choreography. Perfect for any level pole dancer who wants to improve their dancer skills in an old school way.
All Levels
Heels and kneepads are required.
Estefania Workshop - Sultry Spin Combos (Intermediate+)
Saturday October 7 at 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Starting with a 15 minute full body warmup with conditioning exercises, students will learn three spin pole combos with varying elements and difficulties. Emphasis will be on breaking down each step, focusing on the transitions to create an effortless and sultry effect.
Level: Intermediate+
Heels and kneepads are required.
Estefania Workshop - Mesmerizing Legs
Saturday October 7 at 11:30am - 1:00pm
This workshop includes 30 minutes of intensive mobility leg exercises. Students will learn the detailed technique for the sexy flexy and hypnotic leg movements that have become Estefania's signature. Estefania will break down all the steps to achieve mesmerizing leg waves, isolations, clock legs, medusa legs, and ankle rotations.
